Information about the HomeBase Scholarships
We are excited to offer two NEW scholarships through our ARC HomeBases this year:
Beaver of Excellence and Best Dam Beaver.
The HomeBase Beaver of Excellence and Best Dam Beaver Scholarships were created to provide recognition and financial support to two students who stand out among their peers for maintaining a high GPA, an academically well-rounded transcript, participation in extracurricular activities such as community service, student government, athletics, clubs, student research, the Design Hub, Internships, music, and theater, either on campus or in the community.
The Application Deadline is open from March 20, 2024 through April 20, 2024. Please see the requirements below for each of these scholarships.
Scholarship requirements
Primary Scholarship: $5,000
8 secondary scholarships at $250
Eligibility Requirements:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- 45 units or more completed (If you are a part of DSPS, please apply even if you do not meet this requirement)
- Your Home Campus is ARC
All students are encouraged to apply for these scholarships. This includes international students. If you are not selected there are many other ARC scholarships and types of aid offered through Financial Aid including scholarships for which you may be considered. Remember to apply for financial aid by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
To Apply, please submit:
- LRCCD unofficial transcript
- Recommendation Form Submission (must be completed by your recommender by April 27th). Additional details about form submission can be found within the application below.
- A Resume
- A Personal Statement that addresses the following questions:
- Please share your background and any challenges you have faced in your educational journey.
- What are your educational and career goals?
- How has ARC and particularly your HomeBase supported you?
- Personal statement can be submitted in written (1000 words maximum) or video format (5 minute maximum)

- Your Home Campus is ARC
