The Health Center is here to provide health care and education to our students in support of their well-being so they may reach their educational goals, and to serve as a health and medical resource for the campus community. Health care is provided directly by Registered Nurses and or indirectly through educational materials and referrals to community resources. In promoting wellness, both physical and emotional, students are encouraged to choose positive lifestyles.

Student Health Fee
American River College looks forward to expanding services to support the health and wellness of students. These additional supports come in response to recommendations from student groups and campus communities over the past several years and will be funded by a health services fee of $20 per semester (there is no charge for the summer term). You can expect to see expansion of health services for students beginning in the Spring 2019 semester with expansion to increase into the Fall 2019 semester.
ARC is committed to providing the supports necessary for students to successfully reach their academic goals, and we expect these newly expanded services will improve the health and wellness of our students. More information on the fee can be found at http://www.losrios.edu/lrc/lrc_tuitionfees_spring.php
