ARC High School Articulation

High School Articulation: Career Pathways to ARC

Career Technical Education - Articulation Agreements

American River College maintains Career Technical Education articulation agreements with High Schools, Regional Occupation Programs (ROP), and other educational organizations.

Important Information about High School Articulation Credit:

Students are required to apply to the College and obtain a student ID #, obtain the permission of a parent or guardian, and earn an “A” or a “B” in the course to get college credit.
Students will be awarded college credit and grade earned on an official ARC transcript.
Community College Transcripts will identify high school articulated CTE courses as "credit by exam – high school articulation", as required by California Code of Regulations Title 5. California State University’s and University of California campuses (and other transfer institutions) may or may not give credit for high school articulated CTE courses.
