Women in STEM
The Women in STEM Initiative is a commitment by American River College to better support women in the STEM fields.
To support women & femme-aligned people pursuing STEM degrees. We want to create an environment full of establishing meaningful connections, building & sharing STEM-based knowledge, and mentorship opportunities. To create and ensure a safe space and community to rely on within a field that can be discriminatory. That encourages and inspires women to overcome barriers and stereotypes they may face as they pursue their interest in STEM fields.
Join us for our events like the spooktacular soiree in the fall, women in stem panel in the spring and weekly club meetings!
