 | International students You are considered an international student if you are a resident and a citizen of a foreign country, and you cannot establish California residency under your current visa. - Applicants for the F-1 visa must submit an application for an I-20, available from the office of the dean of enrollment services.
- Applicants with a current B, J, or M visa must contact the dean of enrollment services prior to applying for admission and enrolling in classes.
- All others may submit an application for admission through the admissions office.
- The admissions office determines residency status and fees at the time the application for admission is submitted.
