Majordomo Mailing Lists


 

Majordomo is a program which automates the management of Internet mailing lists. This program distributes the email sent to the mailing list, handles much of the routine subscribing to and unsubscribing from the list, and answers basic information requests about the list.

majordomo. n. a person who speaks, makes arrangements, or takes charge for another. From the Latin phrase major domus: "master of the house".
