ARC Foundation Scholarships
The 2009 ARC Foundation scholarship program will be open January 5 through February 27, 2009. Students will be notified in April, and recognized at the awards ceremony & reception later that month. Scholarship monies are disbursed in early August for the Fall 2009 Semester. Click above or here to apply for ARC Foundation Scholarships beginning January 5, 2009.
The American River College Foundation's scholarships are provided by the college, alumni, and private donors, and are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and promise of future achievement. Financial need is a factor for some awards, but not all. Additionally, students who have acquired particular skills may be awarded for their talents.
The Foundation offers more than 200 scholarships, totaling more than $135,000 in 2007.
