Don't have room in your schedule for a for credit library course? Looking for an introduction to library research? This set of seven lessons will guide you through how to be an effective student researcher. Each module takes about 15-30 minutes to complete and you'll get a certificate of completion for each one. LIBR 102 Introduction to library resources 1 unit
Introduces basic library services and resources. It explores the services and functions of an academic library and develops the skills needed to retrieve information from a variety of print and electronic sources. *

LIBR 218 Library research and information literacy 1 unit

Provides a step-by-step guide to the research process that is applicable to term papers, course work, and life-long learning. *

LIBR 325 Internet research skills 3 units

Comprehensive survey of the content, use, and evaluation 
of electronic information sources. Emphasis is placed on the effective 
use of the Internet as a research tools. *
