Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group
Barbara Westre is a dedicated DSP&S Counselor who has developed a support group that addresses the needs and support methods of students who have traumatic and acquired brain injury. The group often has guest speakers and offers a good place to learn of community resources for TBI. For more information on the support group, please contact DSP&S at 916-484-8382.
Emergency Funds for Veterans
New emergency grants are now available for current or veteran members of the U.S. armed forces who are in good academic standing and meet certain eligibility requirements. These funds are designed to help with costs that may be a barrier to meeting your education goals.
To apply for emergency funds, you will need to meet with Daniel Avegalio in the VRC.
