Important Dates for Spring 2019
November 1, 2018: Supplemental forms will be available via eServices. Continuing students must complete a supplemental form each semester before registration. Please remember to update your address, phone number and activate your Gmail account.
November 8, 2018: Enrollment dates will be available on your eServices account. Each student has their own appointment date and time for registration. Veterans who qualify have priority registration and are strongly advised to take advantage of it.
November 19-20, 2018: Priority registration for those who qualify. (For priority groups and dates go to Registration Dates.)
November 26, 2018: You may begin calling for your VA certification appointment for the Summer/Fall 2018 semester. To schedule an appointment, please call 916-484-8135.
Please note: Your ability to participate in priority registration may be affected by rules developed by the state of California (effective Summer/Fall 2014). You need to be aware of these new rules.
1) Students who have earned 90 degree-applicable units at Los Rios will NOT be eligible for priority registration (excluding non-degree-applicable classes that are numbered below 100, such as MATH 20, ENGWR 51, etc.). It is important that you enroll only in courses that count toward your degree or certificate. Once you reach 90 units earned, you will no longer be eligible for priority registration and you will have to wait for Open Enrollment to enroll in classes.
2) Students who are placed on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms will no longer be eligible for priority registration (probation is due to a low grade point average or excessive withdrawals). It will be important that you complete every class for which you register with a C grade or better. If you go on to a second semester of probation, you will have to wait for Open Enrollment to enroll in classes.
3) Mandatory orientation/assessment/counseling is only required for new students with no enrollment history prior to Summer/Fall 2014. Counselor visits are required for current students when changing or updating education plans.
These rules apply to ALL students, including those who previously received Priority 0, including DSPS, EOPS, Foster Youth and Veterans.
Please contact your college's Admissions or Counseling offices for further clarification.
