ACE Icon


Accelerated College Education (ACE)
The Accelerated College Education (ACE) program provides students with a fast track for completing their CSU general education for transfer, through 8 week courses that meet in the evenings and on weekends at our Natomas Center.

Honors Program
RC Honors is a member of the Honors Transfer Council of California. 

Journey Icon

Journey/Trio
Journey is a federally-funded Student Support Services program designed to help first-generation, low-income students, including students with disabilities, who have a goal to transfer to a four-year college or university.

MESA Icon

Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA)
MESA is a learning community for students pursuing four-year degrees in the fields of mathematics, science or engineering.

Puente Icon

Puente Project
The Puente Project's goal is to increase the number of educationally underrepresented students who enroll in four-year colleges and universities, earn degrees, and return to their communities as leaders and mentors to future generations. Puente students (aka Puentistas) work closely with their counselor, English instructor, and mentor to prepare for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

Umoja-Sakhu Icon

Umoja-Sakhu Learning Community
The Umoja-Sakhu Learning Community (USLC) at American River College is open to all students and is specifically designed to increase the retention and success rate as well as the graduation and transfer rates of African ancestry students.
