Transfer Admissions Agreements

You are guaranteed transfer admission to some California institutions (including UC campuses). Currently, Transfer admission agreements include the following:

 

Private/Independent Institutions

University of California campuses

The University of California encourages students to start their Transfer Admssions Agreement (TAG) early by establishing an account via the UC Transfer Admissions Planner (UC TAP). Prospective students can input completed, in-progress, and planned coursework as a means of preparation for submission.

The submission period for UC TAG applications is September 1-30 for Fall admissions. TAG approvals are contingent on students completing the UC Application for Admssions and Scholarships. The application submission period is November 1-30.


General Guidelines

Students are generally eligible for transfer admissions guarantee programs if a minimum of 30 transferable units have been completed (AP credit can be applied). Copies of AP examination results and transcripts from other colleges should be on file in order for counselors to determine eligibility.
