Gender Scholarships

AAUW Sacramento (CA) Branch A woman age 25 or over attending Los Rios Community College District OR CSU Sacramento. See site for additional requirements. March
Asian Women in Business Scholarship Fund Female students of Asian or Pacific Islander ancestry who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  Applicants must be current undergraduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. October
Chicana/Latina Foundation Female Chicana/Latina students from Northern California with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater. March
Daughters of American Agriculture Must be a female farmer or rancher, or the wife, daughter or other close relative of a farmer, rancher or other person employed in agriculture.  Applicant must have financial need and a knowledge of or work experience in agriculture. June
Google Anita Borg Scholarship Full-time female students pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, or closely related degree.  Must have strong academic performance, leadership, and demonstrated commitment to computer science and technology. January
Hubertus W. V. Willems Scholarship Male NAACP members who are U.S. citizens with a GPA of 2.5 or greater and financial need.  Must be majoring in engineering, chemistry, physics, or mathematical sciences. March
P.E.O. California State Chapter Scholarships for California women. February
Soroptimist Live Your Dream Women who provide the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents.  Must be enrolled in or accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program. May not have a graduate degree. November
Soroptimist International of Sacramento Women who have not already earned an undergraduate degree, who demonstrate financial need and are the heads of household. November
Threlkel Scholarship Female students pursuing a business related degree, with a  GPA of 2.5 or greater and financial need. March
