Admissions Requirements

q ARC Enrollment Application for an ARC Student ID #. Please print out an application and mail, scan/email, or fax this into the International Student Advisor. Applications can also be completed at our E-Services Department on campus.

 

q SEVIS Enrollment Form: This form must be completely filled out with the appropriate information for your I-20 account. Please email Jamil Malik for the packet.

 

q Proof of English Proficiency: If your primary language is not English, you must show proof of English proficiency.

  1. Official TOEFL (http://www.ets.org/) with a minimum of a 480 (paper), 157 (computer), or 54 (internet), or an Official IELTS with a minimum of a 5.0
  2. ARC’s ESL Assessment Test (only for transfer-in F-1 students already in the U.S.) with a minimum score at ESL level 50. This exam is given at the ARC Assessment Center inside of Student Services.

q Official Transcripts:

  1. High School- showing all grades and graduation dates, and/or
  2. College - if applicable.
  3. 

q Official Bank statement: All international students must show sufficient financial support for their first year of study. Please read this section carefully.

  1. If you have relative or sponsor in Sacramento who is providing room and board and/or financial support, you must submit an affidavit of support AND a bank statement with a minimum amount of $12,500. An affidavit of support is a written statement by your sponsor, which states exactly what the sponsor will provide. You can use page 2 of the International Student Packet.
  2. If you are paying for your tuition as well as living expenses, you must show your bank statement in the amount of $19,000. The bank statement can be from a bank in your country with the amount of money stated in U.S. dollars.
  3. 

q $50 Non-refundable application fee must be paid by personal check from a U.S. Bank or Money Order. Your I-20 cannot be processed without payment for the application fee.
