We will help you to function academically within a college environment by providing all the support services at our disposal.
In-Class Aides: who perform a variety of academic related duties in the classroom for their assigned students. For example they provide "hands-on" assistance in computer or laboratory classes as well as assist with in-class work assignments.
Out-of-Class Aides: who perform multiple tasks within several areas and need not have knowledge of a particular course. They may assist a student with computer usage, going over course material, or helping with research. Aides do not assist with homework or provide typing services.
Tutors: engage in an interactive process designed to help students with disabilities meet their academic requirements. They must have the qualifications necessary to help students with their studies and assignments by providing individualized attention and educational coaching to ensure academic success.
Note-takers: assist students who have extreme difficulty taking notes in class due to a perceptual, motor, or cognitive impairment.
