We recognize that life does not always run smoothly. Going to school and dealing with obstacles that sometimes get in the way, can be a stressful experience.
In order to help students identify, cope with, or overcome these obstacles, we provide short-term, confidential, counseling. The focus of this counseling is problem solving. Common concerns that may call for personal counseling include anxiety or depression, inability to concentrate, grief, difficulties in relationships, or the like. For situations that call for more extensive therapy, we can provide referrals to professionals in the community.
If You Are In Crisis
Certain situations require immediate attention. If you are having suicidal feelings, or having difficulty controlling the urge to hurt yourself, or anyone else, you need to deal with this NOW.
