Career fairs are an opportunity for employers to meet with students from a wide variety of academic programs. Students and alumni can take this unique opportunity to meet and network with recruiters, learn about companies, their hiring practices, and get questions answered about career possibilities.
Students seeking employment at the career fair should have copies of their résumé available for sharing with employers. To help prepare your résumé, the Career Center offers numerous workshops on résumé development each month. Days and times of these workshops are posted on the "Workshops & Events" page of this website. Students can schedule an appointment to have their résumé critiqued by calling (916) 484-8492.
