If you are a high school student (grades 9-12), you may be eligible to enroll in two college (Advanced Education) courses each semester at ARC or another Los Rios College.
To be eligible:
- You must be at least 16 years old or have already completed your sophomore year in high school.
- You must have a minimum high school grade point average (GPA) of 2.7.
- The course you want to take is not available to you at your school
- The course is not remedial (remedial courses are numbered 1-99 in the college catalog)
- You are not repeating the course, due to an unsatisfactory grade
- The course is for advanced study and you are able to demonstrate adequate preparation and completed prerequisites for the course.
Before applying online, you must obtain a "High School Advanced Education" admission application from your high school counselor, from the ARC Counseling Center, or by downloading the application from the link provided below.
