This one-year program prepares students for employment in the health and fitness industry. The Fitness Specialist Certificate equips students with the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to begin a career in the dynamic field of fitness. Upon completion of this certificate, the students are prepared to take national certification personal fitness exams such as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), as well as many others.
