Welcome to my ARC webpage!

My name is Yuj. I have been teaching at American River College for 6 years. I teach Psyc 300 (General Principles), Psyc 320 (Social Psychology) Psyc 330 (Psyc stats), and Psyc 335 (Research Methods). Click on the links to the left to see more about the courses I teach.

My primary research interests are in Applied Psychology, Memory, Judgment and Decision Making, and Social Cognition, but I have a keen interest in all aspects of Psychology (My publications can be found below). My PhD investigated comparative advertising and the critical role that memory plays in determining the effectiveness of that advertising strategy. In addition to teaching, I serve as the Faculty Research Coordinator for American River College where my focus is on educational research.

When I'm not working, you can find me on the volleyball court, the hockey floor, or on the ski slopes working on my 180.

I look forward to seeing you in class!
