Psychology 300 - General Principles
Psychology 300 should be the entry level course for all students interested in psychology. We cover the basic topics within the field in a manner that is designed to create interest and appreciation without necessarily getting into the real detail. Most students like the class, but some find it difficult. Part of succeeding in psychology is learning how to think like a psychologist. The thinking of a psychologist most definitely involves the scientific method, but it also includes having an open mind and being capable of deep thought about complex, dynamic, and often, ambiguous concepts.
