About myself...

I've been teaching undergraduate and graduate students in Psychology for 25 years. My passions are my family (including the furry ones), knitting, movies,  sewing, Psychology, Italian, and music (not always in that order!). This is my 12th year teaching at American River.

I was fortunate to teach a semester abroad in Florence, Italy through ARC's Study Abroad Program in Spring 2013.  I am a licensed Psychologist in the state of California, and I had a private practice before I became a mother of twins. I specialized in group therapy and working with couples going through infertility. I spent 13 years training master-level marriage and family therapists, and now I love introducing students to the world of Psychology here at ARC!
