Annual giving represents the backbone of public and private colleges. At ARC, annual gifts provide ongoing support for departments and programs through the Office of Philanthropy grants program. Since 2002, more than $500,000 in grant support has been awarded to ARC faculty, staff and students for needs that can't be met with public funds.
An unexpected financial crisis prompted Marquette Jefferson to consider dropping out of school. But thanks to a grant from the Student Emergency Fund, he was able to continue his studies. Today, his life is fully on track, Marquette transferred to Sacramento State University. The Student Emergency Fund is one way donations to the ARC Fund support student success.
