Annual giving represents the backbone of public and private colleges. At ARC, annual gifts provide ongoing support for departments and programs through the Foundation grants program. Since 2002, the foundation has awarded more than $500,000 in grant support to ARC faculty, staff and students for needs that can't be met with public funds.

An unexpected financial crisis prompted Marquette Jefferson to consider dropping out of school. But thanks to a grant from the Student Emergency Fund, he was able to continue his studies. Today, his life is fully on track, Marquette transferred to Sacramento State University. The Student Emergency Fund is one way donations to the ARC Foundation's Annual Fund support student success.
