ARC ACADEMIC SENATE COMMITTEES:
These committees do important work on behalf of the academic senate and include Curriculum, Matriculation, and a number of subcommittees of the Academic Senate.
ARC STANDING COMMITTEES:
The shared governance process notably involves faculty members, classified staff members, and students who all serve on standing committees. Standing committee members may participate in college operations, may make recommendations for improvement, and may enhance communication among all segments of our college community. The following are categorized as standing committees: Basic Skills; Budget; Building, Grounds, and Safety; Equity; Faculty Professional Development; Professional Standards/Type A and B Leaves; Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) Assessment; and Technology.
District-wide committees are comprised of members representing each of the LRCCD colleges.
These committees may have varying faculty representatives and/or be ad hoc committees, task forces or other groups formed as needed.
