Program Review Completion Statement
"Program Review is a valuable process essential to maintaining quality instruction and direction of the college at American River College. ACCJC accreditation standards require that each department complete program review in order to maintain the college's standing as an accredited degree- and certificate-granting institution. Program Review is a key, integral element to department, college, and district planning with direct links to the Educational Master Plan and resource allocation--including staffing, instructional equipment, professional development, and facilities. In order for each department to acquire necessary resources and ensure their goals and objectives are aligned with the broader college mission, individual Program Reviews must be thorough and complete. If a department submits an incomplete, inadequate, or late Program Review, this may have a negative impact on its programs, curriculum, and resource allocation."
